Urd and Skuld are called back to Heaven due to increasing problems with the Yggdrasil. However Skuld leaves Keiichi a dessert, which changes him into a woman. Belldandy, while trying to prepare an antidote for Keiichi, gets exposed to a virus from heaven which makes her (and all goddesses) very sick, but is fatal to humans.
